That being said, part of my opinion on that is just how long psychics have been non-meta relevant. Decks like dragon link have shown us that any generic dragon extender is going to have a huge impact. The only cases where I think E-Tele is better is on your opponents turn for ogre, and if your entire deck is one type and xenolocks. So they have a wider level of options, and generic dragon support is insane. QL may only grab rokkets, but they have a level 1 tuner, a level 2, a level 3, a level 4, a level 4 tuner, a level 6, and a level 7 (maybe a 5 but I don’t remember). Not as much support, and being level 3 and under it’s not going to flow as well with decks. You can use it on your opponents turn to grab an ogre too, if you want. You have level 1-3, tuner/non tuner options. I think E-Tele is just above average while QL is considerably more powerful.Į-tele is a generic psychic extender, but psychic isn’t a great type. Me personally I’d go with both at 3 since I’m not sure if limiting QL would hurt dragon link all that much (albeit I haven’t played the deck that much so what do I know) and I think psychics deserve some time in the spotlight. Should they both be at 3, both at 1, one at 3 and the other at 1 or do you have a different idea (maybe you want both of them banned). Oh, also one is at three and living it up in dragon link while the other is stuck at limited limbo. The only major difference is that ET summons a level or lower monster of an entire type while QL only special summons from its own archetype (but with things like the guardragons about does that even matter?).
